What we collect
When you create an account, we store your name (if provided), email address, and a securely hashed version of your password — we never store or can recover your plain-text password. When you chat with a model, we store the conversation content and which model handled it, so your chat history is available to you later and so we can track credit usage accurately.
How your messages are handled
Messages you send to a model are forwarded to that model's provider — either directly, or through our aggregation partner OpenRouter for models we don't yet have a direct enterprise relationship with — solely to generate a response. We don't sell your conversation content, and we don't use it to train our own models.
Chat history retention
Conversations are automatically deleted after 7 days. This happens automatically in the background — there's nothing you need to do, and there's no way to opt out of the auto-delete window.
Credits and usage data
We keep a running ledger of credits granted and spent per account, including which model each credit was spent on. This exists to keep billing transparent and auditable, and it's the same data we use to set fair pricing.
Payment information
We accept payment by UPI only, collected manually — we ask for the 12-digit UTR (transaction reference) number from your UPI app to confirm a payment. We do not collect or store your UPI PIN, card numbers, or bank credentials at any point; that information never passes through Bonxai. We store the UTR you submit, the amount, and the plan or credit amount it purchased, for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes.
What we don't do
We don't run ads, and we don't sell your personal data or conversation content to third parties.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated conversation history at any time by writing to support@bonxai.io. See our Other Policies page for our refund and cancellation policy.
